The FREEJUMP cartridge is available in three different capacities to perfectly match the size of your FREEJUMP AIRBAG: 50 cc for child sizes S and L, 60 cc for sizes XXS, XS, XST, S, ST, M, MT and L, and 85 cc for sizes LT, XL and XXL. It is important to choose the correct capacity for the optimal functioning of your airbag. FREEJUMP airbag vests (as well as models produced by FREEJUMP for Pénélope and Equithème brands) are certified according to NF S 72 800 2022 standard, therefore only FREEJUMP cartridges are permitted for use with them.

We require the use of FREEJUMP cartridges with our airbags to ensure proper operation and safety.

The properties of the cartridges are crucial for ensuring effective inflation. The quality of the seal is particularly important: if it is too thick, it is harder to pierce, so the opening for CO₂ discharge will be too small, which slows down the gas outflow and thus the inflation of the airbag. The inflation time of FREEJUMP airbag vests (80–130 ms depending on size) is among the fastest on the market, thanks to several factors, including the excellent quality of the cartridge seal.

FREEJUMP cartridges are manufactured in Austria or Japan. They are never manufactured in China or other Asian countries, as tests have shown that the quality of cartridges produced there is insufficient to ensure optimal performance.

The proper functioning of airbags manufactured by FREEJUMP and the safety of the user can only be guaranteed when using certified FREEJUMP cartridges.

In general, the operation of CO₂ cartridges is not guaranteed at temperatures below 0 °C.
